Rimini on the Italian Adriatic coast is one of Europe\u2019s best-known seaside resorts, combining miles of sandy beaches with Italian joie de vivre, cuisine and culture. Thanks to the new direct Eurocity service from Zurich, the destination is becoming even more attractive \u2013 particularly for relaxed summer trips without flying. The train journey takes around seven hours and takes you over the Alps to the Adriatic coast. The summer service runs from 30 May to 5 October 2026. The historic Tiberius Bridge over the River Marecchia has linked the old town with the former fishing district of Borgo San Giuliano since Roman times. The bridge, built of Istrian stone and featuring five round arches, stands as a significant testament to the technical expertise of the Romans. Also worth seeing are the Malatesta Temple, the cathedral of the Diocese of Rimini, and the Fellini Museum \u2013 a must for film lovers \u2013 complemented by a stroll through the neighbouring Parco Federico Fellini, dedicated to the legendary film director and screenwriter.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n
